5 days in: My (slightly unhinged) daily email project

Happy Friday.

I'm five days into this daily email project, and it's time to pause and reflect:

What would possess someone to go from sending a casual email every couple weeks... to showing up in your inbox every single day?

There are plenty of reasons, but here are the big three driving this adventure:

Reason 1: I'm building my list

Simple. See, my endgame is an email-based business where I can generate good revenue by sending fun & entertaining emails—along the lines of Matt Furey or Ben Settle.

But to make that happen, I need a critical mass of readers on my list. So, more emails.

Because the equation is dead-simple: More emails = more visibility = more word of mouth = more subscribers.

Reason 2: I'm becoming my own best "client"

Here's the thing: I've spent a decade writing high-converting copy for some amazing businesses.

We're talking hundreds of emails, landing pages, sales pages, advertorials, upsells – you name it, I've written it. And gotten results.

But for myself? I've written maybe 25 emails, give or take. A couple dozen blog posts. Some website copy.

Now I'm treating myself like an A-list client. Because here's the truth:

If you're a solopreneur, YOU are your most important client. Your own copy matters more than anyone else's. Yet it's the easiest thing to put on the back burner.

Reason 3: I'm heeding the call to create

These past couple years, I've gone deep into personal development. As in, hundreds of hours of meditation, some mind-expanding ceremonial journeys, and more.

Eventually, one message kept coming in louder and louder: Start createing. I was being called to write, publish, and share. For my business and my own personal growth.

So here we are. Day 5 of showing up and chopping wood. Until tomorrow...

Keep trucking,
Brad
